Installing Softkey

The software will not run without either Softkey or a hardware protection key, also known as a dongle. The keys protect the software from being stolen and reused or unlawfully copied.

Softkey does not require a dongle and allows for more flexible licensing by enabling you to transfer the software license to another computer. See Transferring a Software License Using Softkey for more information.

Softkey connects to the Internet every 30 days to recheck for a valid activation. If Softkey is unable to connect to the Internet within a 30 day period, you will receive a message alerting you that you can only continue working with the software for another 10 days without connecting to the Internet.

If you do not have a broadband Internet connection, contact SAi Support to purchase a Hardware Key.
